Dr. Mukherjee is presently enjoying new adventures.

Dr. Goutam Mukherjee, usually referred to as ‘Dr. G’, got his Veterinary Degree in India in 1986. He received his M.S. in Cellular Immunology, and Ph.D. in Cell Biology from Montana State University. He did his post doctoral research and residency in Comparative Pathology from Johns Hopkins Medical Institute.

Dr. G has published many scientific articles in well- respected, peer-reviewed journals. Presently he reviews scientific articles for the American Journal of Veterinary Research. He served in the Veterinary Board of Governors for Washington State from January 2004 to April 2005.

His approach to veterinary medicine is analytical, yet deeply compassionate. He believes that good healthcare for animals can only be accomplished by combining rational thinking with sensitivity to pets and their caretakers.
