Dr. Overbey
Dr. Bridget Overbey is originally from Alaska, having lived most of her life in the small town of Nenana. Very early on it was clear from her love of animals and interest in science that she wanted to be a veterinarian. In 2003, she would pursue that dream and enroll at Washington State University in Pullman, WA. Eight years and several cups of coffee later, Dr. Overbey would realize her goal and graduate with her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduating, she happily said her final goodbyes to Pullman, and made her way to the west-side where she would join the amazing team at Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic.
With her border collie Sydney, Dr. Overbey enjoys practicing and competing in dog agility. It was this that sparked her interest in canine sports medicine. She is also very interested in surgery, oncology, and learning more about alternative medicine.
Dr. Overbey spends her free time with her boyfriend Chauncey and his border collie Indy. She is an avid runner, and it's a personal goal to finish her first marathon soon. Dr. Overbey also enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
